Newton County Sheriff Keith Slape said that marijuana eradication is underway this week in Newton County. The U. S. Drug Enforcement Agency, Arkansas State Police, 14th Judicial Drug Task Enforcement Agency, and the Newton County Sheriff"s Office are patrolling the skies for marijuana grows in the county.
