Newton County Sheriff Keith Slape said that the Sheriff's Office and the Arkansas State Police investigated a death at a Shiloh home in Newton County. Slape stated that the Sheriff's Office received a call from a man that said his wife was breaking things in the home. The man met a Newton County deputy and upon the deputy's arrival he observed a white female, identifeid as Brenda Reynolds, 31 of Jasper, laying in the floor with an apparent gun shot wound. A search warrant was obtained and the investigation is still on going.
