Newton County Sheriff Keith Slape said that 3 Jasper men were arrested Thursday, September 30, for manufacturing methamphetimine, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphenalia. Donald R. Tibbets, 53, James R. Gash, 23, and Jady A. Brannon, 18, of Jasper were being held in the Boone County Jail on those charges. Tibbets bond was set at $50,000 and Gash and Brannon was set at $10,000 each.
