suspicious fire investigated

Newton County Sheriff Keith Slape said that an early morning fire is being investigated by the Newton County Sheriff's Office and the Arkansas State Police. Slape said he was notified early Sunday morning of a residential fire at the Cameron Bolin residence in Mt. Judea. "There is circumstances surrounding the fire that makes it seem suspicious to us", stated Slape." The Arkansas State Police's fire investigators have been on scene helping with the investigation and hopefully we can make a determination of the cause." said Slape. The investigation continues.
