Newton County Sheriff Keith Slape stated that the Newton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death that occurred at a residence in the Pruitt area. Johnathon Bryant,42, of Harrison was found dead in a guest cabin. Slape said that the scene was investigated and the body was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy. " We're waiting on a determination of cause of death by the medical examiner before concluding our investigation".
